Since 2002, many local residents have been watching as the old Marathon station at the corner of West Sprague and West 130th Street has been undergoing a remarkable transformation. The inside of the station has been completely remodeled and updated, a wide variety of convenience foods have been added to their inventory, and the "Marathon" sign has given way to freshly painted signs identifying the station as an American Petroleum outlet.
