Nuccio Basilisco had owned an Esbí Ínt'l Salon in Michigan for eight years when he and his wife Cheryl, a local hair stylist and salon owner for fourteen years, decided to get married. Within a year and a half of forming their professional and personal partnership they had outgrown Cheryl's salon and decided to build another Esbí Ínt'l Salon here. Now, the Michigan and Strongsville salons combined employ approximately sixty employees with thirty-seven of them working at the Strongsville salon.

Esbí Ínt'l Salon runs two shifts of nail techs, receptionists, assistants, and stylists to satisfy the growing demand for their services and to be able to provide their unique training to an ever growing staff. Everybody that becomes a stylist at Esbí Ínt'l Salon trains under Nuccio and Cheryl for a full year. Many stylists come straight from cosmetology school to esbí where, with new license in hand, they begin a training program that teaches them the salon's style of doing hair cuts, up-do's, and coloring. When the Basiliscos are comfortable that they have learned everything that they need to know, they are then stationed between Nuccio, Cheryl, and a more advanced stylist while they progress from Junior to Senior Stylist and on to the Advanced Senior and finally the Master Stylist level. Focusing strictly on hair, nails, and feet, Esbí Ínt'l Salon provides each client with a consultation to determine the most favorable treatment for their hair. The trademark of the salon is their work with colors, particularly combining colors like red, blonde, and black at the same time and their unique, personally created up-style designs for weddings, proms, and formal events. Always at the forefront of their industry, the salon provides styles, techniques, and colors that won't be found in other salons and run the gamut from very soft, elegant looks to runway-type looks. Their reputation has grown to the point that many of their clients have such a high level of trust in their stylist's abilities that instead of telling the stylists how they'd like their hair done they prefer to let the stylists determine what would look best. Esbí Ínt'l Salon is home to four nail techs who handle everything from manicures and pedicure to gels and acrylics. While both Nuccio and Cheryl still do hair, they have also achieved the title of International Designers and Educators. As members of this elite group, they travel throughout the world and are constantly exchanging ideas with their industry's top educators and helping formulate the trends that will be introduced the following year. In their own salons, every member of their staff is taught the importance of education and to anticipate their customers needs. Their goal is to build a quality, personalized and trusting relationship with their clients so that they are always able to keep them in the latest updated techniques, services, products, and home maintenance recommendations.
